Garrick Theatre, Stockport

The Stockport Garrick Theatre was founded in 1901 and has staged plays ever since (even during both world wars). The society has been housed at it's current location (Exchange St, Stockport) since 1920. The building was previously used as a mill and is set against the backdrop of Stockport's grand Victorian viaduct. The theatre has a long tradition of staging new and adventurous plays alongside more popular productions.
