The O2 Academy Liverpool (formerly the Carling Academy Liverpool) is a music venue in Liverpool, England that is run by the Academy Music Group. The main building consists of performance areas. The main room can hold 1,200 people while a smaller room can hold 500. There are also 5 bars in the building which cater for the visitors who come to see shows (2 in Academy 1 and 3 in Academy 1.

When concerts and gigs are not running, the Academy plays host to regular club nights to satiate all musical tastes and preferences. They also offer you free drinks and free dairy ice cream (called "Moo MOO") on special promotions and only on special club nights. You can also have a tour around the Liverpool academy for a small fee or even sometimes free. You get to go behind the scenes of the carling academy 1 and 2 and also backstage.
