The Corporation of Massey and Roy Thompson Hall and Roy Thomson Hall is grateful to the Government of Ontario for committing $8 million toward the revitalization of Massey and Roy Thompson Hall. This support serves as a catalyst for the first phase of work of what will be an historic renewal of one of the most storied venues in music. The Corporation also applauds the accompanying announcement of the creation of the Ontario Music Fund, an initiative that will allow the already vibrant live music sector to flourish, contribute to the creative economy, create jobs, and cement Ontario’s position as a leading music capital.
